Fees & Funding
Tiny Tackers Therapy can provide services to children with NDIS plans that are self-managed or plan managed. All services are charged in line with the NDIS price guide, which is updated intermittently by the NDIS.
Fees for NDIS plan managed clients are:
- $193.99 per hour for Occupational Therapy
- $86.79 per hour for Allied Health Assistance Level 2
- Travel is charged at 50% of the hourly rate of the service provided and 99c per kilometre. Travel is capped according to NDIS travel guidelines, based on the appointment location.

- $193.99 per hour for Occupational Therapy
- $86.79 per hour for Allied Health Assistance Level 2
- Travel is charged at the hourly rate of the service provided and 99c per kilometre, based on the appointment location.
Chronic Care Management Plan (Formally Chronic Disease Management Plan)
Clients with a chronic medical condition (i.e. that is expected to last more than 6 months) are eligible for this plan.
- This plan can be used for Allied Health services (e.g. Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Physiothetrapy)
- Up to 5 sessions in total cN be rebated by Medicare per calendar year
- Clients of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent can access an addition 5 sessions (total 10 sessions per calendar year)
- Fees for Occupational Therapy are $193.99 per hour. A typical session is billed at 75 minutes or $242.49
- Travel is charged at 100% of the hourly rate of the service provided and 99c per kilometre, based on the appointment location (if not at our clinic)
Please note a gap payment will apply for all Medicare clients.
Helping Children with Autism Program
Available for the assesment, diagnosis and treatment of Autism. A management plan must be created by a consultant Paediatrician (Medicare item 135) or Psychiatrist (Medicare item 289) prior to the child’s 13th Birthday.
- This child will receive up to 20 treatment services to be shared across Allied Health services.
- This is the total number of services available to each child in their lifetime, NOT an annual entitlement. It is the family’s choice how the 20 sessions are distributed across professional services.
- Fees for Occupational Therapy are $193.99 per hour. A typical session is billed at 75 minutes or $242.49
- Travel is charged at 100% of the hourly rate of the service provided and 99c per kilometre, based on the appointment location (if not at our clinic)
Please note a gap payment will apply for all Medicare clients.
A large number of private health insurers provide a rebate for Occupational Therapy services. Please contact your health fund directly to confirm your level of cover and eligibility for rebates.
*Please note, you are unable to claim a rebate for both Medicare AND your private health insurance*

- $242.49 per hour for Occupational Therapy
- $108.49 per hour for Allied Health Assistance Level 2
- Travel is charged at the hourly rate of the service provided and 99c per kilometre, based on the appointment location.
Full payment for services is required. A receipt will be issued to enable the client to claim back from their private health insurer.
Fees for private clients are:
- $242.49 per hour for Occupational Therapy
- $108.49 per hour for Allied Health Assistance Level 2
- Travel is charged at the hourly rate of the service provided and 99c per kilometre, based on the appointment location.
