Bridie Armstrong
Bridie holds a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy Degree from Deakin University. Bridie gained valuable skills through her work as a therapy assistant whilst undertaking her degree.
Bridie’s interests and expertise include;
- Life skills such as cooking, shopping and money management
- Working collaboratively with families and the child’s care team to help them achieve their goals
- Parental disclosure of autism and ADHD with their child (exploring the benefits of disclosing a diagnosis and how to share this with the child, their peers, and siblings
Bridie has completed additional training in neuroaffirming practice.
In her spare time, Bridie enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband, son and two dogs. Bridie has played Polocrosse since she was 5 years old and has represented Victoria on several occassions.
