Julia Wishart
Julia holds a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy with honours from Deakin University, Geelong. With over a decade of experience in private practice and mainstream primary schools, Julia combines her extensive knowledge with a deep passion for supporting neurodivergent children and their families. She has two articles published in international journals exploring the topic of handwriting.
Julia’s areas of interest and additional training include;
- Neurodivergent children, with a particular focus on autistic females
- Leveraging her lived experience to make a positive impact on the lives of neurodivergent children and their families.
- Proficiency in DIR Floortime, Autism spectrum disorder Clinical specialisation, Zones of regulation, neuroaffirming practice, STAR sensory processing, and polyvagal theory.
Outside of work Julia enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. Her favourite games to play in clinic are Pizza Party and Rhino Hero.
